Lori Piestewa was A United States Army soldier who was killed during the Iraq War. She died in the same attack that Jessica Lynch and Shoshana Johnson were involved in where they were taken prisoner.
Although both Lori Piestewa and Shoshana Johnson were involved in the attack, only Jessica Lynch was heavily covered in the media. Johnson was rescued at the same time as Lynch but no news outlets reported of her.
